Prepare financial models, applying common and generally accepted valuation methods (DCF, multiples, LBO, etc.) and calculation of key ratios (ROCE, ROE, equity to assets, debt to equity, ROI) to support marketing and transaction execution processes.
Assist senior bankers, advise client’s on valuation, coordinate process and due diligence.
Undertake in-depth financial analysis and participate in the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions (IPOs, rights issues and private placements) in the MENA region, including preparation of transaction related documentations.
Provide marketing / business development support to senior bankers, including drafting pitches, company profiles, ad-hoc analysis etc.
Follow general current events in the MENA markets and keep senior bankers informed about critical issues in the news relevant to current and/or potential clients.
Manage and train Analysts. Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor, including general administrative tasks related to team, clients, marketing etc.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
Relevant investment experience in the region or globally.
Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability.
Excellent financial modeling skills with good accounting knowledge.
Computer proficiency with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in English (and Arabic), both written and spoken.
