Primary Job Purpose: The jobholder supports the direct manager with the planning and delivery of communication strategies. He/she contributes to the corporate communications initiatives which are related to the corporate image, brand, corporate social responsibility activities as well as marketing requirements. The job holder supports the direct manager in the development impact of the Bank through effective communication and representation. Key Responsibilities: Operations, Review and Reporting § Understanding – Maintain full knowledge of regulation standards and process procedures related to the department § Fieldwork – Participate in the implementation of the Group branding/rebranding activities. – Administer and coordinate marketing and advertising campaigns, as well as plans and execute Corporate Social Responsibility Campaigns – Coordinate cross-departmental complex projects that require multi-layered approach and a complex network of involvements – Create presentations, press releases, newsletters and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, as instructed by direct manager – Participate in the transformation of digital channels such as website and technology related development to maintain coherent brand message Stakeholder Management § Internal Interactions – Supports the direct manager in the organization of various types of events and work in tandem with other departments’ events which directly affect corporate image § External Representation – Liaises with the PR agencies and media offices to enable the efficient execution of PR strategies and programs. PR programs include but are not exclusive to; Media briefing, Corporate Social Responsibility campaigns, engagements with international and local media bodies and organization – Coordinate inter-group projects and relations with KIPCO, subsidiaries, and sister companies – Support the direct manager in establishing solid relations with local, regional, and international media to support the development of having an effective strategy to raise the bank’s profile.

- Minimum 2 years of related experience required
