SEF – Assistant Manager

It is looking for new qualify profiles who want to face demanding and challenging career path with the following requirements

Scope and Purpose

In coordination with the relevant Desk Head, provide SEF product services to clients;

• Interact & coordinate with SEF Milan head office team & other departments part of Dubai Hub;

• Assist on new business development: preparing and updating pitch books and all other relevant materials;

• Prepare various monthly reports related to the Desk; these reports include but not limited to deal pipeline, monthly profitability and exposure;

• Assist the desk head & undertake:

– preparing and submitting the relevant credit proposals to the Head of Credit for approval;

– the documentation of SEF transactions including CPs, KYC etc etc;

– maintaining full & complete SEF files (electronic & physical);

– monitoring of SEF transactions which include covenant monitoring, reporting requirements etc etc;

– prepare and assist with timely credit reviews;

– coordinate with Head Office Treasury for relevant funding;

– preparation of Budgets;

– research, analysis & market intelligence required by the desk;

– all other matters required & deemed appropriate for SEF transactions for the desk

Required Experience

3 – 5 years of experience

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

University degree in finance/economics or law,

• Financial modeling, sensitivities analysis, development of credit application for structured & project finance deals;

• Term sheets, documentation, covenant analysis;

• Assisting in origination efforts;

• Client presentations, pitchbooks, Info Memo and financial modelling;

• Any experience in leverage and acquisition finance is very helpful;

• Analyzing comparable transactions and sector-specific multiples;

• Fully conversant in excel, MS Word, PowerPoint; plus working knowledge of other platforms for e.g. Bloomberg research,

Thomson Reuters;

• Initiative, Positive attitude & Team player;

• Working knowledge of structured finance transactions;

• Strong MS Office & PC skills;

• Understanding of credit risk analysis and prepare credit papers;

• Analytical ability to perform financial statement analysis;

• Good commercial & communication skills
