Develop and deploy control and monitoring mechanism to oversee the Risk Management control functions of the subsidiaries, in line with the standards and policies established by the regulatory authorities.
Standardization of Risk Management framework including risk appetite, policies, monitoring and reporting mechanisms subject to local regulatory and business requirements.
Review the Group entities risks through regular monitoring, in order to identify the issues which are impacting DIB Group.
Develop and maintain reports of Group entity risks, in order to support GCRO in reporting matters to BRMC and GCEO for decision making purposes.
Establish and maintain active and formal lines of communication channels in line with group governance framework between GCRO and the entity risk functions.
Manage administrative work of the unit to ensure smooth functioning of the activities.
Act as a focal point of contact between DIB Head office and subsidiaries to ensure all the activities and assignments are executed in line with the department and international standards.
Ensure compliance with the approved policies, procedures, SLAs and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards and ensure risk mitigation.
Ensure all assigned tasks and projects are executed within the approved policies, procedures and SLAs of the department.
Coach, train and develop team skills by identifying training needs and assign appropriate learning platform to the team.
Review team performance and deliverables in line with the approved KPI’s to ensure meeting desired objectives.
All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.
Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in Banking, with minimum 5 years of work experience in Risk Management.
Graduate with focus on Risk / finance / accounts
