What does the Finance area do?
Successful candidates will be joining the Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is part of the Finance department. The candidate will have the benefit of being able to broaden their analytical skills by working closely with all departments. Acting as business partner, the candidate will assist in the preparation of comprehensive analysis of operational, financial, commercial and technical information to allow the evolvement of Company strategy.
What would be your main responsibilities?
We would expect that you prepare timely information to support business areas as well as the Bank’s strategic planning.
Your key responsibilities would include:
Produce weekly and monthly financial information within the different lines of business;
Report daily and monthly results to Treasury team;
Support different lines of business in strategic planning as well as ad-hoc analysis and projects;
Monitor and report bank costs to the different area managers (activity-based cost);
Prepare business plans, cash flow analysis, KPIs, return on investment metrics, profit & loss impacts, scenarios and sensitivity analysis; and
Assist on continual process improvement and automation of the area.
What skills / experience do we need from you?
We are looking for the following educational background, knowledge and experience:
Finance-based university degree;
Advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Kondor and Business Intelligence Tools are desirable;
Experience in Financial Planning, Accounting & Control Department or related roles in the banking sector (is a plus); and
Experience in preparing financial reports, budgets and forecasts (is a plus).
